Delhi excise policy case: Summoned by CBI, will cooperate in probe, says deputy CM Manish Sisodia | Delhi News

NEW DELHI: Delhi deputy chief minister Manish Sisodia on Saturday said that he has been summoned by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) to its headquarters on Saturday.
Sisodia has been summoned for questioning in Delhi excise policy case.
In a tweet, Sisodia said that he has always cooperated with the investigation and will continue to do so.
“CBI has called again tomorrow. They have used full power of CBI, ED, against me; raided my house, searched bank locker, nothing was found against me. I have made arrangements for good education for the children of Delhi. They want to stop it. I have always cooperated with the investigation and will continue to do so,” Sisodia tweeted.

Sisodia and other excise department officials were named as accused in the CBI and the ED FIRs.
The ED in its supplementary chargesheet stated that the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) investigation done so far has revealed that, the Delhi Excise Policy, 2021-22 was created by the top leaders of the AAP to continuously generate and channel illegal funds to themselves.
