F1 2023 Bahrain Grand Prix race time in India: Where to watch and F1 TV Pro prices

Formula One 2023 season kicked off this weekend at the Bahrain Grand Prixwith the Qualifying already concluded and the main race set to take place later today. Reigning World Champion Max Verstappen managed to secure the pole position at the season opener, with Red Bull having locked out the front row.
Behind Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez will be lining up Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc in P3 and his teammate Carlos Sainz in P4. Fernando Alonso will be starting the 2023 Bahrain GP from the fifth spot on the grid, while Mercedes duo George Russell and Lewis Hamilton will be lined up at 6th and 7th respectively. Meanwhile rookies Oscar Piastri (McLaren), Logan Sargeant (Williams) and Nyck de Vries (AlphaTauri) were all knocked out in Q1 along with Haas’ Kevin Magnussen and Alpine’s Pierre Gasly.

Liberty Media Corporation, the official promoters of FIA Formula One World Championship, could not reach an agreement with any TV broadcaster or OTT platform to stream the motorsport in the country. The last Formula 1 season was streamed on Star Sports channel as well as Disney HotStar+ OTT platform.
That said, Formula 1 does offer a solution in the form of F1 TV Pro subscription where one can catch all the live action along with race telemetry, driver cams and much more. To watch all F1 races live, one would need to opt for the premium F1 TV Pro subscription, which currently costs $29.99 for the whole season (about Rs 2,451 in Indian currency) There’s also a monthly plan which will set you back by $3.99.

That said, an absolutely free weekly trial for the F1 TV Pro subscription is currently available on the official website that will cover you for the Bahrain Grand Prix! Do note that the F1 TV app would be required to watch the races live, currently only available on the Google Play Store and Apple App Store. The main race starts at 8:30 PM (IST) onwards today.
