LUBBOCK, Texas – The Texas Tech Red Raider women’s tennis team is heading to their second tournament to begin the spring season as the team will travel to Palm Springs, Calif., for the Duel in the Desert Tournament this Friday through Sunday, January 13-15.
Texas Tech will face student-athletes from Kansas on Friday, players from Auburn on Saturday and then close out the tournament with matches against student-athletes from Georgia on Sunday.
The Red Raiders recently competed in the TCU Invitational where freshman Yekaterina Dmitrichenko won her singles flight and was named the Singles Runner-Up of the tournament with a 3-0 record.
