Sheezan Khan, prime accused in 20-yr-old Tunisha Sharma’s suicide case, had his hearing today (January 11) for bail plea. It has been adjourned till January 13, Friday.
Sheezan’s lawyer Shailendra Mishra spoke to a section of media saying, “They haven’t been able to give any counters to my arguments. While they had been saying that Sheezan spoke to Tunisha for 15 mins before the drastic decision, it wasn’t so. She spoke to someone else after that and the last call was made to her mother. You all have heard it. I am confident Sheezan will get bail in the next hearing.”

He further added, “Power of arrest has been misused and I have stated this in all my statements. Police could have investigated properly.”
Sheezan’s lawyer also shared that while they were being accused of bringing Tunisha to the hospital late, he said, “She was brought to a multi-speciality hospital 20-25mins’ distance.”

He also accused Tunisha’s family side lawyer of improper etiquette and court conduct. “He works out of court etiquette. He will put allegations in front of police and media but in court, he doesn’t argue in those statements.”

He also reacted to late actress Tunisha’s closeness to a person named ‘Ali’. He said, “Ali wasn’t Tunisha’s gym trainer. I have presented my facts in the court.”

Sheezan’s lawyer stood by Tunisha’s mother’s distressed state but said, “When on December 23, Sheezan had brought an episode in front of her (Vanita), did she fulfill her duty as a mother? Today we do understand her emotional state but she is putting the blame on everyone else.”
