“We considered Kiara Advani and Sara Ali Khan but…,” says Advocate Ameet Mehta | Exclusive Interview | Hindi Movie News

Established lawyer Ameet Mehta has got attracted to Bollywood and he makes no bones about it. He has completed producing and starring in a film ‘Love You Loktantra’ which also starred Ravi Kissen, Isha Koppikar, Sneha UllalAli Asgar and many others. ETimes caught up with him at his Mumbai office in Malad for an interview.

Before talking about his gravitas towards Bollywood, Ameet Mehta said that he would like to clarify that he has not drifted towards Bollywood and is very much submerged in his legal practice. See the interview in video below:

Moving on to ‘Love You Loktantra’, the advocate explained that he had Sarah Ali Khan and Kiara Advani in mind for Sneha Ullal’s role. Ameet Mehta explained why he eventually chose Sneha.

The lawyer has a romantic song with Sneha Ullal, which he says he was uncomfortable about – until Ullal pinched him to understand that he was not arguing any dispute in court but rather romancing her. And by the way, Ameet Mehta had taken his wife to Goa while the intimate interlude was being shot!

As for Isha Koppikar’s role, Neha Dhupia and Zareen Khan were under consideration. Why they did not come on board is also in this interview. Click on it if you still haven’t seen it.

Goes without saying that it wasn’t an easy task for Ameet Mehta to offer his availability to the film. “My colleagues and partners in my firm used to hold forte on the Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays that I went for the shoot. The other members of the cast shot on all days.”

Ameet Mehta will now produce a thriller, which he will announce soon. The script is being written and the other modalities are fast being worked out.
