Cricketer Rishabh Pant to be shifted to Mumbai’s Lilavati hospital. Dehradun News

DEHRADUN: Indian cricketer, Rishabh Pantwho was undergoing treatment at a private hospital in Dehradun is now being shifted to Lilavati hospital in Mumbai for further procedures, said sources.
The accident occurred on December 30 after the cricketer allegedly dozed off at the wheel and crashed his luxury car on the Delhi-Dehradun highway. Later it was reported that the car had crashed after his attempt to swerve away from a pothole, a statement that was afterward denied by the director Delhi district cricket association, Shyam Sharma.
Pant had been undergoing treatment at Max hospital in Dehradun since the crash. However, Sharma in a statement to ANI in Delhi has said that the cricketer will be shifted to Mumbai for further treatment. Sources said that Pant will be discharged around 1pm on Wednesday and shifted to Lilawati Hospital for treatment of a ligament injury.
A source at the hospital said that they also came to know about the development through outside sources. They also revealed that the decision has support from the Pant family as well because the cricketer is unable to rest and recuperate properly due to the constant movement of fans and public figures to talk to him.
