Star Student: Nyack High School Grad Gabriel Has Own Fashion Line

NYACK, NY — Star Students are found in classrooms, on concert and theater stages and at debate lecterns, and out in the community doing good things to make life better for all of us.

Here at Patch, we’ve launched an initiative to help recognize Star Students, and we’re working to tell the stories of these outstanding kids to their neighbors.

This submission comes from Cherish Marie Pratt who nominated her son Gabriel, a Nyack High School graduate.

Why do you believe the star local student should be recognized?

Gabriel has always been interested in learning from his environment since he was small. A former student of Green Meadow Waldorf School and graduate from Nyack High School, Gabriel spent two years in virtual isolation school studying Business at Santa Monica Community College. He then returned to New York to be with family and enrolled in the Fashion Design program at FIT (SUNY) & an apprentice program with Zam Barrett at ZFactorie in Brooklyn, NY.

Gabriel designs and creates clothing pieces on a daily basis when he is not in school. He sells his work on his Instagram platform at: F4dedSavior. He features amazing pieces created out of love and wisdom. Each piece has a story special to him & his family. He also designs jewelry, is a published poet and has a channel on Beat Stars, where his music can be found. (F4dedSavior)
