Urfi Javed lands in legal trouble, lawyer submits complaint against her for obscene acts

A written complaint has been submitted against social media influencer Urfi Javed for allegedly committing illegal and obscene acts in public places and on social media, a police official said on Sunday.

According to the PTI report, the written application was submitted by lawyer Ali Kashif Khan Deshmukh at Andheri police station on Friday, a police official said.

“We received an application with this regard two days ago,” the official said.

‘Bigg Boss OTT’ celebrity Urfi Javed is well-known for her outlandish dress choices. Her eye-catching ensembles frequently draw attention. She continues to experiment with her clothing style by using ropes, wires, stones, shattered glasses, or flower petals.

Earlier, Urfi had been in legal trouble due to her revealing outfit in her song Haye Haye Yeh Majboori. Urfi had previously published a behind-the-scenes video in which she was seen falling off the swing. Many viewers criticized her for her outfit after seeing the video, and one user filed a complaint for “posting or transmitting content comprising sexually explicit act in electronic form.”

Not just the legal case, the actress has been in the headlines for her ugly spat with Chetan Bhagat. He had recently commented on Urfi Javed’s attire that allegedly “distracts boys,” the writer created a massive argument with her.

With anger, Urfi responded to him by sharing his WhatsApp conversations that were leaked during the #MeToo campaign. This prompted the author to share a clarification, he tweeted, “Have never spoken to/chatted with/met/ known someone where it’s being spread that I have done so. It’s fake. a lie. Also a non-issue. Haven’t criticized anyone. And I also think there’s nothing wrong in telling people to stop wasting time on Instagram and focus on fitness and career.”
