Over two months after he was arrested for abetment to suicide in the Tunisha Sharma death case, Sheezan Khan has been granted bail by Vasai Sessions Court today. While the family can’t wait to see the actor return home, Tunisha Sharma’s family is in no mood to let the development affect their morale.
On behalf of Vanita Sharma, Tunisha’s uncle Pawan Sharma, says, “It’s a legal procedure and we were expecting for it to happen eventually. However, this won’t deter us. We won’t step back till Sheezan is punished and will fight till Tunisha gets justice. Many facts have come to the fore during the argument. Sheezan’s mother knew about his philandering ways but she didn’t stop him. Jab tak insaaf nahi milega, hum aise hi fight karenge. Our case is strong.”

Tunisha Sharma reportedly died by suicide on December 24. She was found dead in a make-up room on the set of her TV show Ali Baba-Dastaan-e-Kabul. Sheezan played the male lead opposite her. He was arrested following a complaint lodged against him by Tunisha’s mother, Vanita Sharma. Tunisha and Sheezan were in a relationship and reportedly broke up 15 days before the unfortunate incident.
In a chat with us soon after Sheezan was granted bail, his sister Falaq Naaz, also an actress, said that the family is eagerly waiting for him to return home after 70 days. A case regarding the quashing of the FIR is scheduled to come up for hearing in the High Court on March 9.
