Doja Cat Wore Eyelashes as a Mustache and Soul Patch to Paris Fashion Week

Expect the unexpected when it comes to Doja Cat’s inimitable beauty looks.

The “Kiss Me More” rapper pushed the boundaries of beauty trends when she showed up at Schiaparelli’s 2023 haute couture fashion show in Paris earlier this week covered in 30,000 blood-red Swarovski crystals. Today, she once again proved her glamorous versatility while attending Viktok & Rolf’s show—though, this time, she leaned into her wacky sense of sartorial humor.

Doja arrived at the house’s haute couture 2023 show with fake eyelashes glued to her face, forming a pair of eyebrows, a mustache, and even a soul patch. The unconventional look complemented her outfit, which seemed to channel the fashion of Victorian-era dandies. She wore a dramatically draped caramel blazer with white pinstripes with matching high-waisted pants, plus a ruffled white shirt with a high neckline and and mint green diagonal stripes. A pair of ivory pointed pumps and blue-tinted rectangular shades capped the ensemble off.

Celebrity makeup artist Pat McGrath was the brains behind Doja’s jaw-dropping, Swarovski crystal look from this past Monday. On InstagramMcGrath revealed that it took her five hours (or four hours and 58 minutes, to be exact) to painstakingly cover every inch of the musician’s head, arms, and décolletage with the crystals. “The final product was a magical, mesmerising masterpiece of sparkling brilliance,” McGrath said at the time.
