The Emporia High boys basketball team resumes Centennial League play Tuesday against Manhattan.

Emporia High is 9-4 and 2-1 in Centennial League play. Manhattan is 8-4 and also 2-1 in league play.

The Spartans are coming off a fourth-place finish in the Ralph Miller Classic.

Coach Lee Baldwin says two things the Spartans can rely on are playing hard and taking care of the basketball.

Senior Fred Jackson says the Spartans have to be ready for Manhattan’s height inside.

Game time is set for 7:30 p.m. at Manhattan High School. You can listen to the game on Mix 104.9 FM with coverage beginning around 7:15 p.m.
