Motorists can expect more travel disruption as work is done on a city centre road.

Resurfacing improvements to Vincents Walk will last for two weeks, starting from February 6.

It will involve one daytime and two night-time works, with bus stops suspended and phased closures due to occur.

Delivery drivers and bus drivers will be affected during this period.

Here’s what to expect:

February 6 – February 15

7.30am to 5pm.

Traffic flow will be maintained with a site marshal to guide traffic where necessary.

There will be bus stop suspensions.

This work will take place on the northern half of Vincents Walk from the two junctions with Pound Tree Road.

February 13 – February 17

8pm-6am.

Vincents Walk will be closed in phases, with bus stop suspensions.

There may be a temporary road surface outside of working hours.

February 20

8pm-6am.

Closure of Vincents Walk, with bus stop suspensions.

Deliveries may need to access Vincents Walk from a different direction.

If this happens a diversion route for access will be signposted.
