NEW DELHI: A CCTV footage that has emerged from inside the jail cell of conman Sukesh Chandrashekhar in Delhi’s Mandoli prison shows what life is like for him.
In a surprise raid on Wednesday, authorities found many expensive items and cash in his cell.
From Sukesh’s possession authorities have recovered Gucci slippers, a pair of jeans costing over Rs 80,000 and Rs 1.5 lakh in cash.

In the visuals, Sukesh can be seen weeping after the raid.
Sukesh has been recently arrested by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) in a new case of money laundering. The case is related to the alleged fraud committed against the wife of former Religare promoter, Malvinder Singh.
A Delhi court sent him to nine-day ED custody under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA).
The fresh charges against Chandrashekhar pertain to Rs 3.5 crore that Malvinder Singh’s wife Japna is alleged to have paid after she was conned that this money would be used to bail her husband out.
A prime suspect in a money laundering case involving Rs 200 crore is a notorious conman. He managed to deceive Aditi Singh, the wife of former Ranbaxy owner Shivinder Singh, even while he was incarcerated in Tihar jail. The Enforcement Directorate (ED) is currently investigating the financial transactions involved in this case.
